Handstand & Ring Skills Workshop for Crossfit

The Handstand & Rings Workshop is 1 -2 day event that aims to give you all the tools you need to excel at skill type exercises in Crossfit.

The event is split into two 2 hour sessions a day, with an hour lunch break in between.

During the morning session will focus on getting you up on your hands, whether you have some or no experience at all. In this part we will cover:

  • Prep & injury prevention
  • Learning how to spot someone
  • Exercises & Drills to learn and improve your straight handstand
  • How to modify exercises to suit various levels

During the afternoon session we will delve into various ring skills, focusing on:

  • Shoulder warm up for rings
  • Chinups, Pullups, Kip ups
  • Progressions to learn the Muscle up
  • Handstand push up on rings
  • Programming suggestions & planning

The session will end with a Crossfit style WOD to show you just how you can incorporate skill work into  your practice.

This workshop is suitable for you if you want to learn how to approach skill based training safely and efficiently while incorporating it seamlessly with Crossfit.

In order to expand your experience, everybody who attends a 1 or 2 day workshop gets access to a free online training program based on the exercises done during our time together.
